Dustin and I have officially set a date and are beyond excited to finally tie the knot! The big day is May 22, 2010!! So mark your calendars! For the past 5 months, the idea of getting married next May just made me smile; but for some reason now that an actual date is set, I’m starting to feel the nerves a bit. Not nervous to actually get married, as I don’t see it really changing much in our relationship, but nerves about the planning. I have so many ideas floating around in my head; how is a girl to choose!? It’s going to be a big wedding; big families and lots of friends. Looking forward to having everyone there to celebrate with us! xoxo

We’ve arrived safe and sound in Mauritius and it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s been 30 degrees celsius plus every day. It doesn’t feel like Christmas without the snow but we’re adjusting. Hope you all have a great holiday and see you soon! xoxo

We (as well as the cottage) survived the July Long Storm at Lac Pelletier. It was definitely a team effort…big thanks to everyone who helped out. We couldn’t have done it without you all! Below is a few pics of what we woke up to on Saturday.

We’ve made it home from our trek to Quebec City and it was a great time! We learnt a lot, ate a lot and walked a lot. A definite must-see place for anyone interested in Canadian history or anyone just looking for a great holiday. The architecture reminded me of places in Ireland, and I often found myself feeling like I was outside of the country.
